Gyotaku is a fun event for people of all ages. In the Fall of 2013, I conducted the "Gyotaku: Fish of the Shiawassee" program in the Holly, Fenton, and Linden, Middle Schools. Through this program, students learned about: their local watershed; water-related careers; fishing in their watershed; the history of Gyotaku; and how to create their own fish print. I plan to offer Gyotaku artwork and events in the future.
