2020 Disrupted

The social upheavals, specifically the racial injustices  and the hate dividing our country have made it very difficult for me to create.

At this time, I cannot put into a simple statement how deeply effected I am.  I cannot accept the injustices, the disparity.  "One nation, under God,..." We are not this when Americans throw hate or violence to other Americans - especially those who are requesting their equal rights.  Innocent until proven guilty.  That's not happening.  When two men can just go out and shoot another man jogging -who gave them a license to kill? 

2020 has exposed many wounds and I am no longer as blind as I was.   I have started disassociating from those who are not breaking down barriers, or are not making steps to be part of the change to reduce all the disparities in our communities.

Working for GFAC and Flint Schools fulfills my mission to make a better difference in my communities.  I am extremely proud of their efforts and thankful for all that they do.
